A Beginners Guide to Yoga

This workshop is designed for those who are curious about yoga & existing students wishing to develop a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of a yoga practice.

We will begin with an introduction to yoga philosophy & history, where we will learn more about the rich history behind yoga & discover how this ancient practice has evolved into a holistic approach to physical, mental, energetic, and spiritual well-being. We will also explore basic yoga poses (asanas) & breathwork (pranayama), along with the basics of meditation. We will have some time for discourse regarding yoga and any questions/concerns that folks may have. We will conclude the workshop in a 60 minute yoga practice.

In this workshop, you will receive a handbook of everything we discussed, along with suggested poses to sequence at home to develop your own at-home yoga practice.
